Classic Solitaire version 1.0.2 introduced a new scoring rule to increase competitiveness in the leaderboard. Now every time you flip through the entire stock pile, 2 points will get deducted from the score. This change makes it next to impossible to reach the current maximum score of 745 points, so a new leaderboard had to be started.
