Create a PPTP VPN in Windows XP E-mail

Go to Start > Network Connections
Proceed by clicking on "Create a new connection"




















It will bring up the ¨New Connection Wizard¨

Click on "Next"
Choose the option to "Connect to the network at my workplace"
Choose "Virtual Private Network Connection"
Give the Connection a name
New Connection Name





















In the next dialog box Windows can automatically dial the initial connection to the internet or other public network, before establishing the virtual connection. If you use Dial-in Services, Choose "Automatically dial this initial connection" otherwise select "Do not dial the initial connection"

After that you will be asked to specify the hostname or IP to where you are connecting

The next dialog informs you that you have successfully completed the steps needed to create the connection. Click on "Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop" and then "Finish"

After completing the connection wizard you will be prompted for a user to log in with. Provide the credentials for access
